Minutes: Attendees: Commander Peebles, Past Commander Sloan, Aux. President Mrs. Davenport, Treasurer Annie Lockart, McNeal, Sylvester The Commander asked the members to suggest a date we start meeting face to face again.
Sylvester, McNeal said April 27th. Mr. Sloan suggested August. Commander Peebles wanted to provide a Covid policy-i.e. wear mask, must be vaccinatetd, etc. He wants to poll members. McNeal said the Governor has lifted mask mandate. The Governor is a politician said Mr. Sloan additionally infections are rising in the state.
The CDC recommends the continuation of wearing masks and social distancing even after being vaccinated. The City of Meridian still mandates masking until April 30, 2021. Mr Sloan stated wherever we meet ,remember we have to sanitize before we meet. He suggested we could meet by Zoom. The next teleconference will be Thursday April 1st at 5pm.
