Minutes from August meeting was read by Adjutant Sloan. Ray Mcneal motioned to acept the minutes and 2nd by Mr. Maddux. The motion passed.
Treasurer Report by Annie Lockhart- $9,813.2 in the bank- three outstanding checks to HQ not cashed yet.
Motion to accept the treasurer report by Mr. maddux, seconded by McNeal. Motion passed.
David Sloan gave a report on Veterans Day events: Ceremony at 10:30 am. Lunch at 12 noon at VFW 79, Parade starts at 3PM.
This Saturday at 5 PM at the Doughboy there will be a flag folding ceremony sponsored by VFW Post 12124 there be food and music and an explanation of flaf folding by the Boy Scouts.
Oliver Peebles volunteered to be in charge of the mailbox key.
There was a discussion about base housing. Details are on the website. Mr. Maddux made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Sloan. Motion passed.
